Rob's Zendrum Goodies

This page is where I post all the Zendrum-related goodies I have created, and I hope fellow Zendrummers will find them useful.

Zendrum layouts

I have created a lot of different layouts for different situations or drum modules/libraries, and here are a few of them that I use the most:

This layout is the one I use the most. I wish I had more triggers to work with so that I can also map the rim click, since that's pretty useful. I could replace one of the toms with the rim click but really like having four toms instead of three. Perhaps the ride shaft could be swapped out since it's not that important.

And here are the rest of the layouts I have created but are only used for specific situations:

This layout attempts to cover as many articulations as possible, but because it's not ambidextrous, its usefulness is limited.

This layout is for complete cymbals and articulations. If I only needed to record the cymbals, this is what 'd use.

This layout is for complete snare articulations. The unused triggers I just mapped whatever to fill up the layout. Since the kicks are included, if I wanted to just record the kick and snare and then do the cymbals later, this is the layout I'd use.

This is for complete toms and articulations.

This is an alternate complete toms layout, with a different hand movement when doing sequential tom rolls.
