Works In Progress

This section contains some of the stuff I've been working on. Some are for current projects that will be finished soon, and some are put on the back burner because of lack of free time (and might remain unfinished for a long time--perhaps years).

 

Adel in Heaven - A scene from Promise, my unfinished short film.

 

Tellurian Sky - This was my entry for the cgtalk Grand Space Opera challenge. Tellurian Sky is an epic sci-fi/fantasy screenplay I've been working on. Some of you might recognize the girl as Princess Ruu, from the Melancholic Princess painting.

 

Assassination - A scene from a spy story of mine, about a secret agent codenamed "Foxglove."

 

Fix My Broken Heart - One of the entries for cgtalk's Machine Flesh challenge. I wanted it to be vague whether the girl was the man's injured daughter, and he's trying to save her by turning her into a cyborg, or if the girl was his invention to begin with, had gotten into an accident, and he's trying to fix her. Either way, she's obviously very precious to him, and he's heartbroken.

 

Valley - A concept piece depicting a mysterious archeological site. The ruin in the middle of the valley floor will be a lot more complex in the finished version--right now it's pretty bare looking.

 

Fairwell Kiss - Part of a series.

 

Synthetic Vanity - Another entry for the cgtalk Machine Flesh challenge. The idea is that in the future, you can buy designer body parts. If you look carefully, she's actually putting on her ear, not an earring.

 

Saucy - This is one of the very few tongue-in-cheek pieces I've done.

Sunday At the Shop - This one's from a sci-fi comedy/drama I created, about a girl who moves from a small, backwater planet to a big, prosperous planet, and the life she leads in this new environment. I wanted to get away from the typical action/adventure approach to sci-fi stories, and wanted to tell a story where comedy and drama were the focus.

 

Princess At the Landing - Another Tellurian Sky piece, depicting Princess Ruu being escorted to a transport ship.
